Founded in 1909, Tillamook Cheese is a farmer-owned dairy cooperative on the northern Oregon coast that sells premium cheese, ice cream, butter, sour cream and yogurt.

Cheddars – Medium, Sharp, Special Reserve Extra Sharp, Vintage White Medium, Vintage White Extra Sharp, Smoked, Kosher and Reduced Fat
Other cheeses – Colby, Colby Jack, Monterey Jack, Pepper Jack and Mozzarella
Other products – butter; premium, lite and fat-free sour cream; low-fat yogurt and drinkable yogurt smoothies; and nearly 40 flavors of ice cream

Employs approximately 650 employees during peak (summer) season and over 550 employees year-round.
Dairy Statistics
The cooperative is made up of approximately 130 farmer-owners. The average dairy farm has 200 cows, which puts Tillamook County's bovine population at 28,000 cows. The cows are pasture-based, meaning they graze in the green pastures eight to nine months out of the year.
Location
We have two cheesemaking facilities. The main plant, and headquarters of the cooperative, is in Tillamook, Ore. The satellite facility is located in Boardman, Ore. Everyone is welcome at our Visitor's Center to see how our famous cheese is made. The Visitor's Center is located on Oregon’s Highway 101, two miles north of the town of Tillamook.
