Tillamook Introduces New Shingle Slices Packaging
February 12, 2008

Now your favorite sliced cheese is available in a new, convenient and innovative package.  The new 8-ounce packaged shingle slices come in seven different varieties, accommodating all your flavor needs.

Tillamook® is one of the first in the sliced cheese category to offer the consumer-friendly rigid pack. Features of the new packaging include an easy-to-open lid and improved slice separation that eliminates the need for paper in-between slices.  The unique package design also allows the consumer to easily see product variety and freshness.

“Convenience for the customer was the number one reason for changing the packaging,” said Jay Allison, Tillamook Cheese’s vice president of sales and marketing. “The new package design is perfect for quick lunches, like grilled cheese sandwiches, and makes for a healthy snack in seconds.”

Tillamook cheese is made from the finest ingredients, including fresh milk from cows not treated with artificial growth hormone rBST. Tillamook’s new rigid pack shingle slices are currently shipping and will be available at most major retailers where Tillamook slices are sold.
