Baked Queso and Chorizo
Description: This signature Mexican dish brings together the subtle charms of our Queso blend of shredded cheese and the spicy character of the popular Mexican sausage. Satisfies at breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.         
         
Cook sausage and onion on medium-high heat in a large skillet until browned, breaking up sausage with back of spoon, about 10 minutes.  Stir in half of cilantro and half of green chilies; spread in a 9-inch glass pie plate.      

Mix cheese with remaining cilantro and chilies; sprinkle over sausage mixture.  Bake until cheese bubbles, about 15-20 minutes.  Serve warm with chips or warmed tortillas.

Ingredients:
1/3 pound chorizo or Italian sausages, casings removed        
3/4 cup chopped onion        
1 - 4oz. can chopped green chilies        
1/2 cup chopped cilantro        
1 - 8oz. package Tillamook® Queso Blend Shredded Cheese(2 cups)        
Tortilla chips or 6-inch flour or corn tortillas, warmed
