Centennial Grilled Cheese
Description:

In celebration of our 100th Anniversary, the Tillamook Cheese Visitors Center Farmhouse Cafe has introduced the Centennial Grilled Cheese sandwich featuring plenty of sharp cheddar and vintage white cheddar on fresh, extra large slices of Wheat MontanaTM sourdough bread. 

The Centennial Grilled Cheese was featured at Sunset Magazine's 2009 Celebration Weekend event in San Francisco; the bread used at that event was sourdough sliced bread from LeBoulanger, a local San Francisco bakery and cafe.

Instructions:
Lightly butter one side of each thick sliced sourdough bread and place butter side down on medium heated pan or flat grill.

Place 2 slices of sharp cheddar on one side of bread and 2 slices of vintage white medium cheddar on the other slice of bread.

Let the cheese melt on the bread while checking the underside so as not to burn. Lower heat if necessary. Place the sides together when they have reached desired melted consistency, remove from heat and enjoy.

Ingredients:

1oz. Tillamook® Salted Butter

2 slices Tillamook® Vintage White Medium Cheddar

2 slices Tillamook® Sharp Cheddar

2 slices Wheat MontanaTM Sourdough Bread (Thick Sliced - 42 oz loaf)
